Reservations and Suitability of Posts.

The Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2020 or si Delhi police examination is conducted by SSC.

So, the reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) e.t.c are determined by Police Department as per extant Government Orders.

Educational Qualification for Delhi Police S.I Recruitment.

Educational Qualification for all the posts in a Bachelor's degree from recognized university or equivalent.

As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification, published in Gazette of India all degrees, diplomas, certificates awarded through Open and Distant Learning mode of education by the Universities and Institutions of National Importance stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau.

The programs in engineering, medicine, dental, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and physiotherapy, etc are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode.

However, B.Tech. degree/diploma in Engineering awarded by IGNOU to the students who were enrolled up to the academic year 2009-10 shall be treated as valid, whenever applicable.

All the candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission in Computer Base Examinations, PET/PST, and Medical Examinations will be required to produce all relevant certificates.

Must take original certificates of Mark sheets/ Provisional Degree/ Diploma Certificate as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before 01-01-2021.

  • In case the candidates possessing equivalent educational qualifications, such candidates shall also produce a relevant Equivalence Certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of Document Verification.

Most Important.
For the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police only - Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests.

However, the candidates who don't have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for all other posts in CAPFs.

They may make the payment at near branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 22-07-2020.

Such applications in which payment is incomplete due to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for consideration of such applications and fee payment after the specific period (given in the notice of examination) shall not be entertained.

  • Long Jump - 3.65 meters in 3 chances.

  • Shot put (16 Lbs) - 4.5 meters in 3 chance.

For Female Candidates.

  • 100-meter race in 18 seconds.
  • 800-meter race in 4 minutes.
  • Long Jump - 2.7 meters in 3 chance.
  • High Jump - 0.9 meters in 3 chance.

Relaxation in height and chest as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate in the Performa as prescribed from the competent authorities of the District where they ordinarily reside.

Medical Standard must for all posts.

The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high color vision.

Finally selected candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector would, as part of the training curriculum, have to pass seven obstacle events as mentioned below.

  • Jumping over the Vertical Board.
  • Holding the rope on jumping from the Board.
  • Tarzan Swing.
  • Jumping on the Horizontal Board.
  • Parallel Rope.
  • Monkey Crawl.
  • Vertical Rope.

All candidates who register themselves in response to this advertisement by closing date and time and whose applications are found to be in order and selected by the Selection Commission.

Those candidates get Roll numbers and issued Admission Certificates (AC) for appearing in the Computer Based Examination. Subsequently, qualified candidates will be issued an Admission Certificate for the next stage of the Examination.

The facility for download of Admit Card will be available in 3 to 7 days before examination on the website of concerned.

Candidates must bring a printout of the Admission Certificate to the Examination Hall.
