The annual Indian StartUp venture capital submits for 2018 is going to be held on the 7th of December.  The aim of this function is to aim to attract the global capital to India for the investment in the new innovative startups of India. 

3. Italy Wins Admirals Cup Sailing Regatta 2018.


The 9th edition of Admirals Cup (2018) is held at Ettikulam Beach at Indian Naval Academy (INA). The host country i.e; India finished fourth in the overall position of Admiral's Cup.

4. Exim Bank Extends USD 500mm Loan To Tanzania.



According to Export-Import Bank of India is Exim Bank that bank extends a credit facility of USD 500 million to Tanzania for water supply projects in the country.  


5. COSEWIC warned that the polar bears are at the risk of disappearing.


Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC) experts warned that the polar bear is going to be extended in a few years. The polar bear is the largest land predator of Canada. The reason behind the extent is the melting of Arctic sea ice which makes hunting as a challenge for the polar bears.

6. Rs. 3,719 cr Assistance Given To Kerala, Nagaland, Andhra.


From the National Disaster Response Fund, Rs. 3048.39 crore will be given to the peoples of Kerala, and 131.16 crores to Nagaland and similarly 539.52 crores to the Andhra Pradesh. Because these places are affected by floods, landslides, and cyclone over the past few months.

7. Pune District Court Become First in India To Accept e-payments.


After the approval of Supreme Court, a pilot project for e-payments of the court fee, judicial deposits, fines, and penalties is slated to start from the Pune District Court on December 15.

Cochin International Airport was the 4th international airport of Kerala and this was inaugurated jointly by Union Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, this is one of the fastest growing airports in the country.

In October 2018, the Uttar Pradesh government had officially renamed Allahabad as Prayagraj. Allahabad University is renamed as Pryagraj State University.

2. NASA Voyager - 2 Becomes 2nd Human-made object to exist in our solar system.


Voyager 2 was launched on August 20,1977, after 16 days of launching Voyager 1. Voyager 2 now crossed the outer edge of the heliosphere - called heliopause and Voyager 2 explored the solar system's outer planets, returning photos of Neptune.  


3. Shi Yomi Becomes 23rd district of Arunachal Pradesh.


The number of the district in Arunachal Pradesh is increased to 23 with Shi Yomi. Two more districts would be formally inaugurated in the state within this week after which the total district in Arunachal Pradesh has become 25. 


4.USAF and IAF call for more joint air exercise.


Cope India 2018, the 12-day joint exercise between the U.S Air Force ( USAF) and Indian Air Force ( IAF) is begin held at the Kalaikunda air station in the West Bengal. The US Air Force comes with a dozen F-15 whereas the IAF participate with a fleet of Sukhoi, Six Jaguars and Four Mirage 2000.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli become the first Indian to win a test in South Africa, England, and Australia. Former Indian Cricket Captain Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni won Test matches in England, and South Africa but not in Australia.

7. Arundhati Bhattacharya Appointed as The New Chairman of SWIFT Indian Board.


Arundhati Bhattacharya the ex-SBI chief, SWIFT India is a joint venture of top Indian public and private sector banks and SWIFT ( Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). The SWIFT India CEO Kiran Shetty hoped to work closely with the former SBI head.
